A High Powered Committee (HPC) under the Chairmanship of Union Home Secretary was set up to examine the issues relating to “Review of Rape Laws”. The suggestions made by the HPC have been formulated into The Criminal Law(Amendment) Bill, 2010. The draft Bill has been uploaded on the MHA’s website http://mha.nic.in for information and comments from the general public. Ministry of Home Affairs has also invited views/comments and suggestions of the States and UTs on the draft Bill. The response can be sent by 15th May, 2010.

The definition of “Sexual Assault” is too loosely worded. By the present definition if in the case of a simple scuffle between a man and a woman, if the finger of a man goes into the woman’s mouth by mistake it will amount to sexual assault. This is ridiculous!
Our constitutional law, CPC, CrPC and IPC must be changed with learned judges who have retired and even with suggestions from people of social interest.
The above laws were made by English during 1850’s. We must also be careful in dealing with slightest modification.

there should be online voting option for youths as most of the youth is working out of their constituencies.Going to their home town to give a vote is difficult due to the coperate environment running in india.Most of the youths are working in metro cities where voting is not possible for them.
What govt can do???
can design a application where the person is allowed to access the application just once with relevent infoeramtion as printed n their voter id card.Govt can set up a dept who will be responsible to monitor this application and couting for the votes going thru this application.By this we can involve max increment on youths votes and make India a better country.B for badlav and it will begin with us.All we need to mordenize our voting techniques.try this out my dear government and definetly we will shine across the globe.
